I think I’m going to start a gaming YouTube channel. I record lots of funny moments and video editing was a fun hobby I used to do in high school.
The format I have in mind is probably sharing compilations of funny moments I’ve recorded in a game. This could add a new layer of content to the game reviews I write.
Most channels I’ve seen have some combination of obnoxious video-in-video gaming chair streamers, overuse of video editing, and/or insincere personalities. Their fans are typically the same. The ones I like lack all of those things and put out rich videos in concise, less than 10 minute packages. Hopefully with this in mind I can create videos that draw in a better, more sophisticated audience (joking, you’re all a bunch of neanderthals).
At least now I have an idea for turning something that is currently a huge waste of time into something that is a massive waste of time. Here’s my first video!
